Ah fireworks. The sound of our nations freedom. :) It fills me with joy to sit and watch the bright colors burst and melt into the night sky. The beautiful colors remind me of my beautiful freedom.
Then, I got to thinking. I got to thinking about Jesus being crucified.What did it sound like as He was bearing the wrath of God to forgive the sins' of all who would believe in him? What did it look like? What were the people who were watching feeling? I can bet it wasn't freedom. Yet, it was the most freeing event that ever did or will take place in history. Why? It freed you. It freed you from the bondage of sin. And set you free into a more beautiful freedom than the United States could ever give you. ( i do realize i used freedom way to much in the prior sentence. :))
